ABOUT PARIS AND PARKS CONSULTANCY

Yvette Lamidey opened Paris & Parks in 2004 and has worked with a number of clients including government departments, publishing, outsourcing providers, software houses and health clubs, professional bodies.

Yvette has been a practicing payroll professional for more than 20 years and has worked across a variety of industry sectors and in various sized organisations ranging from approximately 100 to more than 25,000.

Yvette has specialised in systems having been part of the implementation team in her early career and latterly leading on the procurement and implementation projects. She has also been instrumental in successfully managing PAYE reviews and implementation of various compliance and efficiency initiatives.

The services that she has provided has ranged from assistance in the writing of tenders, reviewing tenders for an outsource provider, system procurement and implementation, compliance reviews, advice and guidance, full function reviews, negotiating dispensations and PAYE settlement agreements.

Yvette has been a member of the Institute of Payroll Professionals since 1988 she has been a tutor for the IPP Diploma in Payroll Management and assisted in the development of the Diploma and Payroll Foundation courses. She served as a member of the IPP Board and was Chair from 2002 to 2004.

Yvette has participated in a number of consultations with government departments, in particular HM Revenue and Customs since 1995 and has also contributed to the IPP responses to various consultation papers.

Yvette has been a regular contributor to various technical and trade publications, such as Payroll Professional, Payroll World and Conspectus.

In addition to these services Yvette also provides mentor and coaching services to her clients and is Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming.

Some years ago Honorary Membership of the IPP was bestowed to her and in 2005 she was awarded an Honorary Diploma in Payroll Management in recognition of her services to the profession. She has also been awarded the Strathearn Prize for a Lifetime Achievement in Payroll. In 2007 Yvette was the recipient of the IPP's annual Special Recognition Award.

Yvette is a member of the Institute of Directors.

Based in Wiltshire, Yvette also works regularly in London and the Midlands.

Yvette also works with associates on larger projects all of whom have the same professional standards, ethics and integrity that Yvette demonstrates in her work with her Clients.
